William Kuan (Kuan Kok Wai)

I grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and completed my tertiary studies in Australia. I met my wife, Yuh Bin during our university years and we have a son, Justin who is currently working in HK . I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and hold an MBA.
I have been blessed with a wonderful career and have held many senior leadership roles with multinational companies across the Asia region. I am currently appointed Chairman for a leading insurance company in Hong Kong and also an Independent Director for a multinational bank in China.
We came to Hong Kong in 2014 and have been attending Union Church since then. It has been a truly memorable and blessed 11 years for us in Hong Kong. Union Church has made us feel so at home and has played a tremendous part in our settling into Hong Kong life and importantly in reaffirming our faith in God.
Yuh Bin is involved with the Children's Ministry and Ladies Fellowship and Justin drums occasionally in the Sunday services. I am involved with the Men’s Group Fellowship and the Young Adults ministry.
It has been my honour to serve on the Committee of Management, Property Committee and also previously Chair of the Transition Committee in Union Church where I continued to grow in my faith, playing my small part in serving God to glorify His kingdom.
