THE GRACE RACE
BUILDING UNION FOR THE FUTURE!
Join our virtual challenge as together we walk, hike or run 9,888 kilometres from 24 - 30 May. We plan to cover the distance from Huntly in Scotland (where the founder of Union Church, Rev. Dr James Legge, was born) to the site where we are rebuilding our Church, 22A Kennedy Road. We're doing this in just one week and need your help! Anyone of any age or ability, anywhere in the world can join. This means your family, friends, relatives and colleagues, and indeed, anyone who wants to participate to help us reach our challenging goal.
THE GRACE RACE is a fun way to participate as a community in raising funds for the fit-out costs of our new building. To find out more, please watch this Grace Race video.
All you need to do is register HERE, then walk, hike or run (outdoors or indoors), using the Strava App to record your distance. Your distance covered each day will be added to every other participant’s distance so that together we can accumulate our distances and achieve the goal.
To help raise funds, we hope that every participant will find sponsors. This will go entirely towards the fit-out costs of the “new 22A”! Come and join us for some fun, fellowship, fitness and fundraising in May!
