WHAT TO EXPECT

There will be worship, inspirational talks, activities, time to relax and an option to explore historical Christian sites in Macau.

You are welcome to check in any time after 3pm on Friday, 10 January. We will have dinner together around 7-8pm on Friday followed by the first session. The retreat will end on Sunday, 12 January no later than 1pm. You may consider spending Sunday afternoon exploring historical and other tourist sites in Macau.

COST

$2,900 (shared accommodation) or $3,900 (single accommodation)

The cost covers the following:

• Hotel Room with Breakfast for 2 nights
• Meeting venue for worship sessions, activities, inspiring talks, etc.
• Coffee breaks and bottled water throughout the weekend
• Dinner on Friday night, Lunch on Saturday

The following are NOT included in the quoted cost above and need to be paid separately on your own account:

• Round-trip transport between HK and Grand Coloane Resort, Macau (Cotai Water Jet Ferry to Taipa is recommended)
• Transport within Macau
• Dinner on Saturday
• Any personal shopping, tourism, snacks, etc.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Limited scholarships are available. Please indicate that you would like to apply for a 50% or 100% scholarship on the registration form below. 

We also welcome any donation amount to help sponsor those applying for scholarships.

TRANSPORTATION

• Transport to Macau: We recommend taking the Cotai Water Jet Ferry to Taipa, as it is closer to the hotel.
• Transport to Grand Coloane Resort: Taking or sharing a taxi is the best option; it's about a 15 -20 minute drive depending on traffic.
• There is a free shuttle from Grand Lisboa Palace Resort to Grand Coloane Resort, but with limited service (10:30am, 12:15pm, 5:15pm, 6:00pm). The shuttle schedule is HERE for reference.  

Payment

Please pay $2,900 (shared accommodation) or $3,900 (single accommodation) by bank transfer, by cheque, FPS or the preferred method - by credit card online (a 3% surcharge applies). Payment requested at the time you register and no later please than 31 December, 2024.

Please send a copy of your transfer receipt along with your personal details, noting "Men's Retreat 2025" to . 

By cheque - Please make your HK$ cheque payable to "Union Church". Designate "Men's Retreat 2025" on the back of your cheque and post it to Union Church, 22A Kennedy Road, 4/F - Accounts Department, Mid-levels, Hong Kong. 

By bank transfer - Please pay into Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, Account No. 411-1-000037-2, SWIFT Code if needed is SCBLHKHHXXX. Please alert the Church office at   when you make the transfer, noting "Men's Retreat 2025". 

By credit card online - You may pay via credit card using Union Church's online giving form. (A 3% fee will be added to credit card payments. Please pay $2,987 for shared accommodation and $4,017 for single accommodation.)
