Friends for Easter 2025

Be a host this Easter and make a difference! International students often stay in the city during the major holidays like Chinese New Year, Easter and Christmas. Why not invite some students into your home this Easter season (16-21 April) to share a meal together? It’s a great opportunity for you to build friendship, learn about foreign cultures and help international students experience the love, acceptance and hospitality that Christ has shown us. Easter is an especially golden opportunity to directly share the resurrection story and the Good News!

Expectations of a host:

• After being matched with the students, the host must initiate contact with their international student guests and invite them to a meal
• Host one or more international students for an Easter meal (and optional church visit invitation) between 16-21 April
• Keep in mind their dietary restrictions while planning the meal/choosing a restaurant
• Be able to converse with student(s) in English
