U MattersLent is a 40-day period of preparation and reflection. Traditionally people “give something up” for Lent. British Prime Minister May is giving up crisps. My suggestion is that we take something up for Lent. Union is joining other churches in HK to host a special “Inspired” exhibition of Bibles and manuscripts. More about that later. But for now I encourage you to log on here. This is an online 40 days of devotional that will help you reflect and prepare for Easter. Tuesday night the joint leaders met and were amazed at the stunning temporary site of Union when redevelopment goes forward. Please continue to lift up the Building Union For the Future committee as they work tirelessly on our behalf. And please pray for and attend the AGM on Saturday 11 March. Pastor Greg |

Annual General MeetingUnion’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday, 11 March 2017. It will begin at 6PM with a “Love Feast,” followed by the meeting at 7PM. Please come join us as we celebrate together, and give glory to God. Non-members are welcome to attend. Please bring a dish, salad or dessert to share. We rented the Upper Room of Liberty Exchange, an Italian restaurant and bar in Central. Quiz categories will be Bible, Money, History and Geography, Entertainment, and Hong Kong. Community & MissionPhilippines Mission Trip We offer an opportunity to see what the Church is doing in the Philippines. Union and some small groups sponsor students from Bawing Alliance Evangelical Church and Shekinah Alliance Bible College as well as various programs run by International Care Ministry. We invite our congregation to join a trip to General Santos from 28 March – 2 April to celebrate with the graduates as well as witness how ultra poor communities have been transformed.
