U Matters
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your response to our overcrowding at the first service was so patient, kind and loving! Thanks to the “yellow shirt brigade” for your guidance! They got most of us in. Those of you who didn’t get in include my son Jamie who gave up his seat in the sanctuary and then was denied admission to the overflow at Indigo. We will be better prepared this week.
We are on an exciting journey. This week we would like to have less chaos and more care as we worship together. Please consider the 8:45AM service!
There will be an overflow on the second floor of the Indigo Hotel for the 9:45AM service. Once the sanctuary and overflow at Sunlight fill, the yellow shirt brigade will direct you to Indigo.
At 11:15AM, in addition to the sanctuary and overflow, we have two rooms at Indigo:
- 2nd floor U-Café in the Function Room with Pastor Michele
- 29th floor U-Bar in the Skybar with Anto and Hunter
There will be live music and a live feed of the sermon on both floors.

Communion Sunday in September
We will celebrate Holy Communion this Sunday, 10 September at both the 9:45AM and 11:15AM services. In October, we will return to our regular schedule on the first Sunday of the month.
Please note: Communion will be offered every Sunday at the 8:45AM Classic Worship Service.
Name tags available! Stop by the Name Tags Table and pick up your name tag this Sunday! Our Union Welcome Committee have provided name tags to help us all get to know one another better during our time of transition. If your name does not appear we will be happy to provide one for you. Let’s encourage one another and build up our fellowship together!

Family Matters
Family in Need (FIN): Sometimes life throws us challenges and we need to reach out for help. If you need spiritual, emotional, physical, and/or financial help please contact Pastor Michele and/or members of the FIN Team Charles Schmitt, Isabel Morrison, and Jean de Groot. To maintain accountability, we ask that requests come through this group. If someone in need approaches you for financial assistance, please refer them to the Pastors or the FIN Team.

U-Bar, A Special Service for Young Adults
This Sunday we invite all Young Adults to join Anto and Hunter at the Indigo Hotel Skybar, for a special service named U-Bar, at the 11:15AM service.

Uni-On Starting back!
Uni-On, our students fellowship group, is starting back. Meet Anto every Thursday for lunch (12-1PM) at the Library Starbucks at HKU.

New Confirmation/Baptism Class
Youth who want to be baptized or confirmed this year should get in touch with Anto as soon as possible. A new class will start soon, with exciting activities throughout the year, including a 4 days-trip!

Kingdom Kids
Sunday School at Sunlight Tower, Sunday 9:45AM & 11:15AM
Children ages 3-10 years old will meet at the Music Room for Kids Worship Time before proceeding to their respective classrooms accompanied by their teachers. Babies and toddlers ages 0 up to 3 years old will proceed directly to the Creche Room. Please pick up the Sunday School new schedules and class assignment at the Kingdom Kids Table. Parents please note that for the month of September, children are required to be picked up directly from their classroom promptly at the end of the service regardless of their age. We look forward to see your family there and let us continue in our journey to raise our children for God’s Kingdom.

Sign-up now for Union Church’s annual All-Church Mission Trip to Manila in partnership with Kids International Ministries (KIM).
Everyone is welcome to join! Deadline for registration is 15 September
The trip is from 29 September to 02 October 2017 (with possibility to extend your stay in the Philippines if you want to!) The price for the trip is $2,700, not including flights.
