Please come to the conclusion of our series with a talk and discussion on "The Suffering of Christ", led by Matthew Fredericks which will culminate with a time of communion and reflection as we begin our celebration of the Passion Week. Wednesday, 16 April, 8:00PM, "Stories of Easter" Oasis will host a "Stories of Easter" evening for Holy Week. Eight speakers will share a five-minute story/testimony to help us reflect on, and prepare our hearts for Easter. |

Sponsor a back pack? I am overwhelmed by the generosity of Union Church. It took only a few days to fill 48 backpacks for the Children at FSCOP in Cambodia. If you missed out on the opportunity to bless a child, don't worry because we are dreaming big and going to try fill even more backpacks so that we can bless a second orphanage in Cambodia. $250 fills a backpack full of much needed school supplies. Contact Brenna to sponsor a bag today! Drumming Performance Youth, this Friday, 11 April we have a special treat. From 6:30PM to 8:30PM all Jr. High and Sr. High youth are invited to join with the German Lutheran youth as we enjoy a special drumming performance by a group of Refugees and hear their stories. There is a rumour that we may even get to join them and try out our drumming skills! |

Creche Manager We are currently looking for a Creche Manager. This is a part-time position looking after children under 3 years old on Sundays. If you or someone you know loves to be with young children and has a passion to show them God's love, please contact us at children@unionchurchhk. "Light of the World" Easter VBS on Sunday, 20 April during the Sunday School hour. Kingdom Kids is inviting children from 3-10 years old to an experiential journey through the Passion Week, with four interactive bible story stations that will help them see Jesus as the Light of the World. There is a new outreach opportunity.... and you don't have to leave Hong Kong! A restaurant in Sham Shui Po is serving meals for the homeless in the area and needs volunteers to distribute the food! On Saturday 26 April at 6:00pm-8:00pm, we are looking for a Union Team to volunteer. This is a wonderful ready-made way to get involved in community outreach. |
