U MattersDO NOT GO TO CHURCH THIS SUNDAY! Let me quickly qualify that: Don’t go go Sunlight Tower to your regular service Sunday. We won’t be there. Join us at 10:30AM for One Worship Sunday at the Tang Shiu Kin Secondary, a few blocks from Sunlight Tower, at 9 Oi Kwan Road. Our joint June service was such a joyful gathering we are going to repeat it, this time with a Thanksgiving Feast!
Speaking of Thanksgiving, I grow ever more grateful of the people of Union Church. Your kindness and love has been expressed in so many creative ways this past month. On behalf of Holly and the whole Anderson family, I thank you! This is "Thanks Giving" Sunday. Not only will there be a service focused on thanking God for his goodness in Christ, there will be a chance for you to make your financial commitment to Union for the coming year. It will be a year of transition and your faithful giving will make it a smooth one. Please continue to pray for what the Lord would have you give. Gratefully,
Pastor Greg This WeekOne Worship, Sunday 18 November, 10:30AM

Small GroupsBless The City Thank You!
Last Saturday, over 80 Union members and friends joined together to serve Hong Kong in various ways: learning how to better accompany our blind brothers and sisters, writing notes to women who have given up on themselves, making crafts, cleaning homes for elderly residents, distributing water, food and toiletry kits to homeless neighbours, and visiting an elderly centre. Many thanks to all who participated, all who prayed for us, and the group leaders: Justin Cheong, Jess Ficatier, Theresa Cheung, Jeff Rotmeyer, Jessica Hexter, and Kathy Foley. And thanks to Elizabeth Thomson's organisation Amber Foundation for donating toiletry kits for the Kindness Walk. If you have airline kits or hotel toiletries at home, we are collecting through the month of November. See photos HERE. *If you are new to Union or interested in joining a small group, there will be a specially designated table at Sunday's Thanksgiving Lunch. We know there are a lot of you wanting to connect or looking for the right group, and we will be laun ching new groups in 2019! What a great way to start off the new year! If you are looking to join a group, or have felt God nudging you into leadership, please contact Monte Peterson. YouthFriday Mission Night & Senior Kindness Walk – November 16
