“I thank my God every time I remember you…because of your sharing in the Gospel from the first day until now.” I borrow Paul’s words to the church at Philippi to express the gratitude to God I feel as we work together at Union. The move has been a massive dislocation and yet the vast majority of you stayed with us and are praying with us as we face an exciting future.
This week we take time for thanksgiving. Morgan Jackson from Faith Comes by Hearing and Jeff Greenman from Regent College will be with us to help us celebrate this Sunday. There will be a Thanksgiving Feast at the Hotel Indigo following the 11:15AM service (a few tickets are still available.) Then at 5:15PM, we begin a new evening service.
Thank you for your financial support of the Lord’s work at Union. Returning your pledge card by the end of the month will greatly help our planning for the next year.
Gratefully
Pastor Greg

John has been both a parish minister and theological lecturer, but spends much of his time these days in giving spiritual direction, with a “prophetic edge” to a wide range of people, lay and ordained. He is also chair of the Evangelical Alliance in Australia. His writings can be found on www.cross-connect.net.au Saturday, 2 December at 10:00AM. Sign up at the Welcome Table or email Monte Peterson.
