U Matters
“When do I get to sit in the sanctuary?” That was a fair question raised by a long-time member to me this week. We have expanded sanctuary seating and we continue to have the U-Café and U-Bar at the Indigo Hotel Indigo. Another member told Pastor Michele that it is fun to visit the different venues. We are so grateful for the pioneer spirit but rest assured we are working on alternatives. There are plans and prayers that are beginning to yield some intriguing options. Watch this space, pray, and thank you for your faithfulness in this time of transition.

Lost a loved one through death or have a friend who is grieving? Consider joining GriefShare -an opportunity to learn and share about grief and loss with others who have been there. Topics include Living with Grief, the Journey of Grief etc. Come discover coping strategies and learn from the experts.

Young Adult
U-Bar, A Special Service for Young Adults
This Sunday we invite all Young Adults to join Anto at the Hotel Indigo Skybar (29th floor), for a special service named U-Bar, at the 11:15AM service.
Youth
New Confirmation/Baptism Class
Youth who want to be baptized or confirmed this year should get in touch with Anto as soon as possible. A new class will start soon, with exciting activities throughout the year, including a 4 days-trip!
Friday Youth Group, 22 September @ Sunlight Tower
Juniors meet from 6 to 8PM, Seniors meet from 7:30 to 9PM, with optional hang out in the Youth Lounge after until 10:00PM.

Youth of all ages are welcome from 9:45 to 10:45AM. This week we’re starting the “just10” videos!

Kingdom Kids
Sunday School at Sunlight Tower, Sunday 9:45AM & 11:15AM
Children ages 3-10 years old will meet at the Music Room for Kids Worship Time before proceeding to their respective classrooms accompanied by their teachers. Babies and toddlers ages 0 up to 3 years old will proceed directly to the Creche Room. Please pick up the Sunday School new schedules and class assignment at the Kingdom Kids Table. Parents please note that for the month of September & October, children are required to be picked up directly from their classroom promptly at the end of the service regardless of their age. We look forward to see your family there and let us continue in our journey to raise our children for God’s Kingdom.
Sunday School Teachers Needed
We are currently in need of a Sunday School teacher volunteer for the following class: the 3-5 year old at 11.15 am service. If you or know someone who love to share the gospel with the little children and is available at the 11.15 am service, please contact us
or at 2101 0414. We would love to hear from you and share in our joy in teaching the little children.
Sunday School 2017/2018 Registration
We would like to encourage all of the parents to please register your children as soon as possible as we have few children’s special events coming up and we want all of our parents to be well informed. Mission
Fundraising - Mission Trip to the Philippines
A team of 23 Union members are going to the Philippines next week for a Mission Trip in partnership with Kids International Ministries (KIM).
Please consider stopping by the Bake Sale Table on Sunday to sponsor the trip via a delicious cake, and/or a donation.

Missions, in partnership with the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of the Philippines, is promoting the training of pastors and planting of new churches all across Leyte Province in the central Philippines. A number of pastors involved with the church planting ministry are recipients of scholarships extended by UC members to the Shekinah Alliance Bible College. Come and see for yourself an exciting new ministry based in the city of Sogod reaching out to new areas east of Cebu this coming 8-11 December 2017. Approximate cost is HK$4,000.
