U MATTERS
This week, the Joint Leaders met on Zoom. It was such an encouragement - to learn of the progress of the new 22A, to hear the thoughtful recommendations and report from the BUFF team, to see the excitement and to witness the unity among our leadership. What a joy!
I was also encouraged this week to learn about how many people are connected to Bible studies, are excited about being equipped as Stephen Ministers, are exploring Christianity through Alpha and who are reaching out to the community. There is a lot going on around us, let’s continue to pray. “Prayers outlive the lives of those who uttered them; outlive a generation, outlive an age, outlive a world.” E. M. Bounds Let’s pray for our leaders, our staff, our church, our witness, our outreach, our mandate – ‘to make disciples of all nations and to baptise them.’
Jeremiah wrote, “I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. When you come looking for me, you'll find me. I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." God's Decree. Jeremiah 29:11-14 MSG
God has good plans for us as individuals and as a faith community. May we continue to trust in Him and commit our ways to Him, for He is faithful and good.
Blessings, Pastor Michele
