His leadership, writings, ministry and messages have touched countless lives. Special Offering In Mongolia we support a home for young women who have been abused, abandoned, neglected and often left on the streets. When you compound the challenge with freezing weather, it is a dire situation. For the last several years, Desert Rose has provided housing and social care for these young women. Last week a fire broke out in their wooden home and caused substantial damage to the degree that building a new home might be more feasible. An estimated cost would be between USD25-70K. We will be taking up a special offering this Sunday in support of Desert Rose. Please consider giving towards this worthy cause. Bible Talk Have you committed to our read the Bible in 2016 program? If you have, join a teaching and discussion series on the Bible designed to support all those undertaking the one year challenge. Pastor Matthew will give a 40 minute talk followed by a 20 minute group discussion from 12:30PM to 1:30PM on Sundays in the Upper Annex. Light refreshments will be served at 12:15PM. The first talks are:

Wed, 2 Mar, 8:00PM (Refreshments at 7:30PM) Animals talk in the book of Numbers. Annoying siblings are cursed. God creates a spy network, or MI6/CIA. Women inherit property roughly 3,350 years before they are allowed to do so in the U.K. Numbers are an unusual combination of boring census records and riveting stories, but even the censuses are important: the first census in Numbers chapter 1 introduces chapters 1-25 and the story of the old, rebellious, wilderness generation, and the second census in Numbers 26 introduces chapters 26-36 or the emergence of a new generation of hope prepared to enter the Promised Land.
