Last weekend 29 ladies went to Thailand for a ladies retreat themed "Running the Race." What a time of refreshment, laughter and connection. Connections were made to both our Lord and to one another. On the home front Pastor Matthew spoke on having faith. By definition, "faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1) Oh how these passages come together, for we need our faith to run the race. As you run your race this week, whatever obstacles you face, may you "run in such a way as to get the prize...run with perseverance the race marked out for you." Pastor Michele |

Spring Mission Trip! Fri, 25-31 Mar to Tacloban, Philippines to work with Kid’s International Ministry to build homes in the local community. We will work 4 days and then have one fun adventure day in Leyte, where students can choose between diving, the beach, or a jungle adventure. Early Bird Special $5,000 (Diving & Jungle Adventure Extra) if you register on or before 29 Jan. To register, email Brenna. Youth Confirmation Class This year's confirmation class will start 28 Feb at 11:00AM with an introductory meeting. Peace Box 2016 Campaign Kingdom Kids will be participating in the Hong Kong Church Network for the Poor 2016 "Peace Box" Campaign by organising 50 boxes of Peace Box filled with stationery, toiletries, clothing and toys for the underprivileged children and families in Hong Kong. Come and support this great cause by picking up a box or two at the Kingdom Kids Table (in front of Lower Annex) starting from this Sunday, 31 Jan until 21 Feb. Fill the box/es and return them to us on or before the 28 Feb, and these boxes will be presented to the designated families. For more information, please visit us at the Kingdom Kids Table and pick up the information leaflet or email us at Christian Children's Books Kingdom Kids is in the process of expanding our Sunday School children's library. If you have some books that you no longer want, please drop them off by the Kingdom Kids table on any Sunday or at the Admin Office on any weekdays from 10AM to 5PM. Thank you. Children's Worship Time Children ages 3-10 years old please go directly to the Lower Annex for Children's Worship Time. We will have worship for the first 15 minutes followed by a bible memory verse, prayers and group activities before proceeding to Sunday School classes. Participate in a mission trip with your family!! Mongolia Want an opportunity to get out your jackets, boots and scarves this year? We will be heading to chilly Mongolia over Easter (Fri, 25 Mar - Tue, 29 Mar) to enjoy warm fellowship with our friends, Troy and Shari Tvrdik, who head up Flourishing Future - an NGO which works with impoverished families in Ulaan Bataar. Costs (includes flights, accommodation, meals, excursion to a national park, and ground transport) - +/- HK$8620 Adults or HK$7620 for children under 12. Philippines Our congregation has a longstanding friendship with the Bawing community in the Philippines, and generously sponsors students from the Shekinah Alliance Bible College. To celebrate their graduation, Marga Wulfgram has organized a trip from 29 Mar - 1 Apr. Participants will have the opportunity to meet the students in the scholarship program, visit homes of church members from Bawing village, enjoy a memorable time at an ICM jumpstart pre-school and enjoy wonderful fellowship with each other over tasty Filipino meals.
